The ever iconic Taj Mahal in Agra, India framed from the stunning gardens of Mehtab Bagh. I wanted to move away the chaotic scenes closer to the monument and ”step away”. As a landscape photographer, my eyes always gravitate to surrounding foliage and how I may be able to incorporate that within an image. To my expected delight, the garden offered countless opportunities- with different flowers and density, allowing serene moments and the ability to navigate tourist traffic from entering the frame. Luckily, a bird flies into this very moment which adds just enough motion back into a seldom uncluttered landmark. To me, this created balance.
